Cut for a Cure

It was a good break from my compulsive stuck attention on the Oprah competition to go out and participate in a fund raising event for pediatric cancer.

We went to a wonderful event sponsored by The Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Business people volunteered to have their heads shaved to raise money and the foundation wanted cancer kids to help on stage. This way they could tell their story while the kids helped with the shaving. Don Jowdy was the person that Kayla helped. Kayla loved this so much. Here are some photos. P1020503

This event was able to raise $248,000.00 in one evening. It was such an honor to be a participant for this group!

Anything that you can do to help this cause would be appreciated. Sometimes I think that if many people send a dollar this is far more powerful of a statement than a few sending larger sums.
