This is a huge subject with what seems a never ending supply of subject material.

What is wellness?  My definition would be having a body that works.  Having good muscle tone, healthy strong bones, feeling alert and energetic, would be the description that I feel fits.

How is this attained?

Sales

Is seems that Americans have become a drug culture society.  We all expect a pill to be the quick fix.  Unfortunately this just compounds the problem because the symptom is a warning signal that has now been shut off.  The symptom is still there but is suppressed by a drug.

We are being sold a bill of goods by big pharma.  They spend millions to sell you their products and now they can do it direct through very slick drug commercials.  You can be sold a drug through a commercial, go to your doctor and get the prescription.  Don’t ever believe that this is not premeditated.  Big money is invested into these result.  The end product is you wanting the drug and as far as I am concerned, it is sheep that refuse to look into this matter further and question the validity of these slick presentations.

The symptom that is now masked by drugs is now sleeping and festering.  Until the true cause of the problem is discovered this symptom is now brewing into more of a problem.  Masked by drugs, it will eventually require more intervention.  Or continued use of the drugs will give you side effects that you did not expect.

Time

Using natural and alternative methods to hunt and find out what is really wrong takes time and effort.  Did you know that a B complex deficiency takes four months to fix.  That is four months of a clean diet, low sugar, vegetables, grains and fruits along with a good portion of protein, with a compliment of vitamin B complex taken every day.  Once the deficiency is corrected it should not become a problem again as long as one continues to invest into their physical health.

Children

Children in particular need a heavy investment into their physical health.  Babies double in size in months.  The amount of nourishment needed to fuel this type of physical construction is enormous.  Yet, so many children today are fed cereals that are loaded with sugar and dyes to make the food look pretty. Many of the food colorings used in food are made with chemicals that are known carcinogens.  This is on top of meats that are loaded with synthetic hormones and antibiotics.  These poor animals are loaded with hormones to make them grow fast.  Yet, it is now a known fact that hormone therapy is linked to cancer.  If this is true, then why are we feeding our children with these same hormones through their meats?  No one should eat foods with toxic ingredients that are known and linked to disease! This is actually criminal.  We are being sold something that looks like food, tastes like food but does not actually feed our bodies to that it can maintain and build health.  There for this is a crime, in my humble opinion.

Commitment

With any serious health issue, I am hoping that you take it as your wake up call to make major changes towards health and healthy living.  This is going to require your time and effort to cook meals that are healthy.  Many people have told me that they do not know how to cook.  Give me a break.  A good crock pot comes with a recipe book.  Just follow the instructions, dump the ingredients into the pot and start!  If you turned on the crock pot before you left for work then you will come home to a healthy delicious meal.

There are so many pollutants in the environment at this time, that I feel we are being besieged on a daily basis with poisons.  The only answer to this onslaught is to fight back through healthy food, water and living.  We started years ago by changing one item a week.  We have since improved many times over.  Now I can taste the difference between an organic carrot and a regular one.  This I find remarkable.

Join me on this path to responsibility for yourself and those around you.  If you keep at it you will feel physical improvement with in weeks.  If you are ill, you will need the best food possible to help your body deal with the disease as well as the drugs necessary to help fight the disease.  Don’t misunderstand, I am not in favor of drugs but there are times when they are absolutely necessary.  Without chemotherapy my little girl would have died in a matter of weeks.  The amount of thanks that I have for her life cannot be put into words.  Now, we are investing in her future by feeding her the best possible foods and approved supplements in our fight against her cancer.  The reward is seeing my girl with out a wheel chair, without the debilitating side effects that were causing terrible pain and now we have the hope of a long healthy future to look forward to.

I wish the same for you.

Debbie

Per my own experience I had far less side effects compared to my daughter’s Leukemia treatment from fifteen years ago. In two years of treatment I only missed four days of work! I swear I am telling you the truth. Four days, that is all. Not bad. People miss more days from a bad cold.

When you get your diagnosis ask your Oncologist for the list of chemotherapy drugs you will be on. This way you can take the list and go to the pharmaceutical website for exact information on your cancer regimen. When I did this, the pharmaceutical website recommended drinking a minimum of sixty-four ounces of water a day, which I followed and it made a huge difference.

Do your own research, write down your questions and keep this paper in a safe place so that if you think of more questions you can add them to the list for your next appointment with your Oncologist. They are there to help you. The best way to get good help is to have exact information and data that you can give your doctor which will help them get a good picture of what is happening with you and how they can help.

This is how you gain control of your life and treatment. Additionally, any of my webpages that you want to use for your treatment must be printed out and brought to your oncologist for consultation. No matter what the Internet or alternative practitioners say, you should always consult with your Oncologist regarding any supplements or alternative you want to try. My Oncologist gave the okay for me to take basic vitamins in normal amounts every day and that is what I did during treatment. I never took mega dosages of anything during treatment because I did not want to counter act the death of cancer through chemo therapy!
